Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) HBCU/MI Internship Program
Selected interns will be introduced to the numerous career opportunities offered in Navy Medicine as well as experience technical, hands-on training at the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) Silver Spring, MD. They will be paired with an NMRC principal investigator mentor and perform real world and mock research on a disease outbreak scenario, similar to current laboratory happenings with COVID-19.
